The Michigan Transportation Team invites you to create a short creative video that highlights how you feel about Michigan’s roads! Let your creativity flow. Feel free to use music, humor, or other formats to help showcase Michigan’s pothole-riddled roadways.

For examples of some of DriveMI’s videos, check out our YouTube channel.

Criteria for Judging Videos:

* Creativity
* How well message is conveyed
* Level of entertainment
* Quality of the video

How to Submit Your Video:

Upload your video to YouTube and then send the link of the video to videocontest@drivemi.org.


Video Contest Rules:

* Videos are to be no more than three minutes in length.
* All videos must be received by 11:59 pm April 11, 2010.
* Any video submitted to the DriveMI Pothole video contest become property of the Michigan Transportation Team. Michigan Transportation Team reserves the right for use of any and all submitted works in promotions related to the Drive MI Campaign.

Sign the Petition

The Michigan Transportation Team (MTT) recently announced an online petition drive for citizens who are tired of driving on pothole-riddled streets. Although the petition is non-binding and will not change the law, the names of petition signers will be presented to state policymakers to demonstrate the level of support in Michigan for investing in our state’s infrastructure.

With transportation needs increasing, and available funding not able to keep pace with the growing demands of the state’s transportation network, the Drive MI Campaign represents a comprehensive strategy for fully funding Michigan’s transportation system in the 21st century.

What Can You Do?

The two easiest things you can do is contact your local legislator and let them know you support the gas tax. The second thing you can do is signup for our email newsletter, Facebook and/or Twitter account to stay informed and help out when you can.
