With more snow on the way, some residents in Saginaw County are worried their roads will never be in good driving shape.

A number of roads in residential areas have been iced over for several days. Some believe it's because of budget cuts, but the road commission says that's not true.

Some roads are icy, and that most likely won't change until the weather warms up.

"I thinks it's terrible that they are letting the roads go to this kind of condition," said Tom Kubiak, who says he hasn't seen a snow plow come down his Saginaw Township street all winter.

The roads are snow-covered and actually ice-covered now.

Sign the Petition

The Michigan Transportation Team (MTT) recently announced an online petition drive for citizens who are tired of driving on pothole-riddled streets. Although the petition is non-binding and will not change the law, the names of petition signers will be presented to state policymakers to demonstrate the level of support in Michigan for investing in our state’s infrastructure.
