Ypsilanti: Residents are concerned over condition of roads

Some Ypsilanti residents are speaking out against the poor quality of the city's roads.

The Eastern Echo is reporting several road revenue projects are planned in the city, including projects on Grove, East Cross and West Cross streets.

Several residents and Eastern Michigan University students have complained about the road conditions and what they've done to their vehicles.

The Ypsilanti City Council voted 4-3 earlier this year to not enter a loan to improve Grove Road. A complete rebuild of the road would cost more than $500,000 and would last between 10 and 20 years.
